Submission Guidelines
We consider both
fiction and non-fiction for adults and children, including picture books, YA Fiction, fantasy and science fiction.
We do not
consider educational materials, poetry, plays or film scripts.
We prefer an initial inquiry by phone, email or letter telling us something about the project and prospective author. If we are interested, we will ask you to send either part of, or the entire manuscript . We try to read and respond within 4-6 weeks of receipt of the manuscript.
Fiction

A brief
synopsis – no more than one side of an A4 sheet

The first
three chapters of the work. This should be typewritten, double
or 1.5 spacing and on only one side of an A4 sheet. Please do not bind or staple

Some warm
and friendly biographical details relevant to the work

Sufficient
postage if the MS is to be returned
Non-Fiction
- An overview/rationale of the project
- A detailed chapter outline
- Biographical details indicating your qualifications to write about the subject
- Three sample chapters
- Sufficent postage on a large enough envelope if the MS is to be returned
Children's & Young Adult (YA)
- Brief relevant biographical details
- A short synopsis –approx. 200 words
- Title
- Target age range
- Word count
- First three chapters or complete MS for picture
books, as an attachment
